Sinking further in despair

I don’t believe you ever cared

Hold so tight I can’t breathe

   Seeking only to deceive

Give me something to believe

Untie the words so I won’t leave

Give me something to believe

   Anything to believe

Just give me something to believe

Promises become regret  (your promises, my regret)

So sorry that we ever met

Taking your hand in mine

Didn’t know what you had in mind

Give me something to believe

   Dangling words, ah that please

Give me something to believe

   Anything to believe

Just give me something to believe

Twisted, selfish, you sicken me

How could I know what you would be?

Screaming take your hands off me

Hold so tight I can’t breathe

Give me something to believe

   Tangled words, I can’t leave

Give me something to believe

   Anything to believe

Just give me something to believe

So easily you cross the line

How was I to know your kind?

Now my life no longer mine

Hold so tight I can’t breathe

Give me something to believe

   Tangled words I can’t leave

Give me something to believe

   Anything to believe

Just give me something to believe

Trusting regretful mistake

Now my life for you to take

Screaming get off of me

   Trapped in your reality

Hold so tight I can’t breathe

   Seeking only to deceive

Gave me something to believe

Dug my own grave, for me you grieve

Gave me something to believe

Now I see (what you had in mind for me)

You gave me something to believe
