If Ever
In Vain

Let’s go enjoy the day

Shrug off your duties before it slips away

They will still be there tomorrow

Let’s steal back our time from this life that it’s borrowed

Won’t you come out with me and play

The budding of spring, let this be our May

From your duties won’t you be torn

And stay with me until the morn

Then back to the world where we both belong

But not today, let’s fill it up until it’s gone
